Let's Eat Cake!!!
Not all treats have to be unhealthy. By swapping out a few ingredients, we can feel good about the treats we give our family and loved ones. In these bite size muffins you will see how healthy does in fact equate to yummy.
Ingredients...
2 C of almond flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1/3 C of honey
2 tsp of cinnamon
1 tsp of ground cloves
a pinch of nutmeg
a pinch of salt
1 tbsp of vanilla
1 egg
1/2 C of butter
1 C of dark chocolate chips
Begin by pre heating the oven to 350. Prepare your muffin baking try.
Next beat the butter and the honey together until combined. Add the egg and the vanilla.
Once the wet ingredients are combined, you can slowly begin to add the flour, spices, and basically everything else except for the chocolate.
Once this is combined, stir in the chocolate chips. Fill your muffin try about 3/4 full. Bake for 30-40 minutes, keeping an eye on it to make sure that it doesn't overcook.
