Gratitude is the Greatest Multiplier of Good
Change your negative thoughts to create a positive life of abundance.
A few simple habits can change your entire perspective on life. When you have a more positive outlook on things you naturally attract more positivity into your life.
First and Foremost, don't neglect your feelings. If you are in a bad mood, let yourself be in a bad mood. We all have the right to feel like crap every once in a while. Give yourself a time out of life if need be. Allow all the negative crap out. You can do this by writing down all of the stuff that is bothering you...ALL OF IT! Then burn it. Burn it all away. This is a practice called Write & Burn.
Don't stay in the negativity. Because life is never as bad as many of us make it out to be. Here's a quick exercise. Find a comfortable, quiet spot where you can either sit or lay down. Close your eyes, and visualize all of the things that make you happy & bring you joy. See the people, places, and situations that fill you with love. Give yourself a few minutes here to really let the positive feelings seep in.
Write down a list of all of the things that make you happy. Make it a list of at least 10 things. Do this every day for a week. You'll be surprised at how this helps you change your perspective. Real quick...here's a few things I'm grateful for...
Rivers & Trees
When my kids smile & laugh
Hugs and cuddles on the couch on a Friday night while watching a movie with my family.
Positive affirmations & mantras. Write down a list of things you like about yourself, things that you are working towards achieving, and read it over and over every morning and every night. This changes your way of thinking. Saying them daily, out loud, forces you to keep it at the fore front of your brain.
Life is better than we make it out to be. We are more beautiful than we think we are. And we are stronger and more capable than we give ourselves credit for.
Much love & namaste friends. Try a few of these & let me know how it helps you.
