DITCH THE SODA
I'm gonna keep this simple, because everyone knows that soda is not good for you...And everyone is sick of hearing about how NOT good soda is.
At this point, I think that most people have tuned out all the warnings about soda.
But I'm writing about it, though keeping this short, because ... it really is that bad for you. Not only does it
1. Destroy your metabolism.
2. Get stored as fat.
But... 3. And this is the grossest cause yet... It feeds intestinal parasites and bad gut bacteria!
One 12 oz serving of your favorite soda has about 39 grams of sugar in it. If you can't visualize that, think 9 spoonfuls of sugar. Let me just put that in here 1 more time, to let it really sink in. NINE...SPOONFULS...OF...SUGAR...YIKES..!
But if none of that is enough to deter you from your sugary caffeinated fix, maybe this will.
Just a year ago this beautiful woman came to me because she was ready to make a change. A single mother of 3, who works 2 jobs, she was tired, sluggish, and tired of feeling tired and sluggish. She decided to stop drinking soda and began walking 3 to 4 times a week. In one year, she is now killing it in the gym and just ran in her first 5k. I am so proud of her. She is proof that letting go of soda will make a huge difference in your health. If a single mother of 3 can do it, then there are absolutely no excuses for anyone out there. You got this.
